A round table session is a large educational workshop involving 500 participants who are encouraged to learn and exchange knowledge in small break out rooms of max. 10 attendees.

The session has a fixed structure starting with a short introduction, followed by break-out sessions that alternate with plenary presentations provided through videos. The break-out sessions encourage lively interaction between the attendees from different countries. In this conference, the round table sessions are planned after the plenary sessions on the same topic. Each round table session is closed with key messages and tools for clinical practice.

A research masterclass is organised by a WONCA Special Interest Group or Network. It consists of several presentations of renowned experts on the topic presented in the plenary session, focusing on research and innovation. Participants have the opportunity to chat and to ask questions to the speakers at the end of the session.

A special interest session is organised by a WONCA Special Interest Group or Network on a topic related to their field of expertise. It includes state of the art presentations and breakout sessions for lively discussion among delegates. The session has a maximum of 30 to 40 participants.

A workshop is dedicated to participants based on an abstract submitted. As the number of workshops is limited, only top scoring abstracts will be selected. These highly interactive session will be introduced by a presentation on current topics alternated with breakout sessions for discussion in small groups. The session has a maximum of 50 participants.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts, classified by topics. Those abstracts scoring the highest will be allocated to Oral presentation sessions. The presenters will have the opportunity to showcase their work through a live session with other authors operating in their field of practice. Dedicated time for questions and answers (Q&A) will be left at the end of the session.

A case presentation by young doctor is a short pre-recorded presentation of diagnostic/therapy with one or two cases. This format is aimed at young doctors at the beginning of their career and mentors. All presentations will be available On Demand throughout the conference and three months after the conference dates. Numerous opportunities for live chatting between delegates and presenters will be available in the Virtual Platform.

A 1-Slide – 5 minute presentation is a short presentation of your recent research findings or important ongoing research in one slide. All presentations will be available On Demand throughout the conference and three months after the conference dates. All authors accepted for E-Poster Presentation status will be able to record a 3-min MP3 presentation to accompany their e-poster. Their work will be shown in the virtual platform and E-Poster Gallery on the Conference website. The e-posters and audio recordings are accessible to all delegates throughout the Congress for individual viewing.

Abstracts selected for this category will be published on the Conference website and Abstract Book .

The Abstract Book will be available on the conference website and Virtual platform on 6 July 2021 and will remain accessible for consultation also after the conference is concluded. Delegates interested in your research will be able to contact you directly through the virtual platform during the conference and for 3 months afterwards.
